protest and props

We went to the anti-war rally on Saturday.
There were lots and lots of older people (with their canes, walking poles, leg braces)
and some really vibrant youth. I think we need to listen more to the latter:

MOVE, Bush
Get out the way!
Get out the way, Bush!
Get out the way!

Women in Black was f*cking fierce!
They had a couple of silent installations
around the route and at the end:
puppet theatre: black robes and enormous masks weeping.
it was pretty powerful
